Guardian strengthens its solar glass product portfolio

Glass manufacturer Guardian Industries has introduced EcoGuard Pattern Glass, a new low-iron pattern glass designed to maximise solar energy transmission.

EcoGuard Pattern glass can be used in a variety of applications, including solar thermal collectors and other applications requiring high solar transmission and light control.

The glass is IEC validated and tested and certified by the SPF Solartechnic Institute. Guardian is currently producing matte/matte and matte/prismatic pattern glasses. Guardian is conducting research to further increase solar transmission by optimising the textured pattern.
